Mats Hummels with social media criticism of teammates

Mats Hummels criticizes the BVB stars after the game against Union Berlin. After another defeat, BVB loses contact with the top positions. You can find all the news and rumors about BVB here.

Here you come to yesterday’s BVB news and rumours.

BVB, News: Hummels criticizes Dortmund stars after bankruptcy

BVB defender Mats Hummels has called on his Dortmund teammates after the recent bankruptcy against Union Berlin (0: 2). “We can see at 2-0 in which areas risk is appropriate and when not. When to send and when not,” criticized the 33-year-old. “Sometimes the simple 20-yard back pass is better, even if it doesn’t come out on social media afterwards.”

Dortmund would have to get away from the fact that “football has to be sexy,” Hummels said after the 1-1 draw against Sevilla in the Champions League. “Successful football isn’t about heels, spikes, one, two, three from five yards, it’s about a player always doing the right thing and not just doing something special sometimes.”

When asked about Hummels’ criticism, however, striker Karim Adeyemi waved it off. BVB does not play football that is too ornate. “I wouldn’t say that now. We played a different formation today, maybe that’s why.”

BVB, News: Dortmund loses top game against Union

Borussia Dortmund suffered another setback in the fight for the German championship. The team coached by Edin Terzic lost 2-0 (0-2) to Union Berlin. This means that the black and yellow continue to lose touch with the top positions. On the FCU there are already seven points after ten matchdays.

Janik Haberer scored the goals for Union Berlin, first after a mistake by BVB keeper Gregor Kobel (8th), then with a brilliant long-range shot (21st).
