Maria KeaneNational player David Raum has been rewarded with a contract extension for his strong performances with Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim. As the Kraichgauer announced, the 23-year-old extended his already long-term contract by another year until the summer of 2026.
The left-back only switched to Hoffenheim in the summer without any first division experience and immediately became a regular player.
“Hoffenheim’s bold and attacking style of play really suits me and my game, so I didn’t have to think twice about extending here,” said Raum: “We’re on the right track and I want to put all my energy into helping to ensure that we keep playing attractive and successful football.”
Coach Sebastian Hoeneß sees the extension as “good news” for the club. “He’s a boy with a really good attitude. The development this season has been enormous, he’s a very, very important factor for us,” said the 39-year-old.
Alexander Rosen praised Raum as one of “the absolute shooting stars of German football”. Born in Nuremberg, he “exceeded expectations at top speed,” emphasized the director of professional football.
