Next bad news for Julian Nagelsmann! Benjamin Pavard has Corona

Coach Julian Nagelsmann has to do without Niklas Süle and Benjamin Pavard for the upcoming game against Union Berlin on Saturday. As the club confirmed on Thursday, the defender was infected with Corona.

The French world champion “is in domestic isolation, he’s fine,” Bayern said. This leaves Nagelsmann against the Iron only Lucas Hernandez, Dayot Upamecano and Tanguy Nianzou as central defenders.

Süle tore a muscle fiber in his right rear thigh during training on Wednesday and is expected to be out for three to four weeks.
