Paris Brunner is said to have been targeted by FC Barcelona

Borussia Dortmund’s young striker Paris Brunner has apparently aroused desires at FC Barcelona.

Spanish journalist Josep Capdevila, once with the Catalan Sports busy, writes, Barça officials are watching the 17-year-old very closely. The reports that have been received about Brunner in the past have been promising.

Paris Brunner is considered one of Germany’s greatest talents. He is not the first highly talented BVB attacker to be traded as a new signing at Barça. For a long time, the Catalans were also considered interested in Youssoufa Moukoko before he extended his contract with the black and yellow.

However, Capdevila does not write anything about specific efforts by Blaugrana to get Brunner. The teenager had moved to Dortmund from neighboring VfL Bochum in 2020. He is still under contract there until 2025.

DFB coach Christian Wück said last fall SPOX and GOAL uAbout the German U17 international: “Paris is a very reflective player. He knows where he wants to go and what he has to invest to get there. That sets him apart and, in my opinion, is the main reason why he has developed so rapidly in the past year has.”

Brunner is having an extremely strong season and is now playing for BVB in the U17 and U19 teams. In 23 games, he scored 22 goals and provided three assists. In the UEFA Youth League he collected four points in seven matches.
