Randal Kolo Muani reportedly an issue at AC Milan

Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani is said to be on AC Milan’s list of potential transfers next summer. As the Gazzetta dello Sport reported, the French World Cup participant is one of several candidates to succeed Olivier Giroud.

After all, Giroud is already 36 years old, and his contract with the Rossoneri expires at the end of June 2023 anyway. Since Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is now 41, will probably not continue beyond the summer and neither Divock Origi nor young hopeful Marko Lazetic have been able to convince, Milan wants to be loud Gazzetta sign a new centre-forward next summer.

Salzburg’s Noah Okafor should be the number one transfer target. In addition to the Swiss, Kolo Muani and Jonathan David from Lille are also named as candidates.

As is well known, Kolo Muani only switched from FC Nantes to Frankfurt last summer and got along so well with Eintracht right away that he even made it into the World Cup squad for runner-up France. Milan are said to have been interested in Kolo Muani back in the summer and could now offer Eintracht around €30m for the 24-year-old. In Frankfurt, Kolo Muani has a contract that runs until 2027.
