RB Leipzig goalkeeper Josep Martinez involved in an accident

Goalkeeper Josep Martinez from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig experienced a shock at the start of his Christmas vacation. The 23-year-old Spaniard was involved in a traffic accident at Leipzig Airport.

Martinez crashed his car into a shuttle bus on Saturday evening and had to receive brief medical treatment. But he was unharmed.

Martinez is substitute goalkeeper behind captain Peter Gulacsi in Leipzig. Martinez was last used for two games at the end of November when Gulacsi was out due to a positive corona test.
