Sevilla FC have reportedly turned down an initial offer from Bayern Munich for Yassine Bounou, the Andalusians’ goalkeeper. The newspaper reports Diario de Sevillewho described FCB’s offer as “ridiculous”.
According to this, the Munich team offered Bounou eight million euros and four million in performance-related bonuses. Sevilla don’t see the status of the Moroccan on offer as sufficiently recognized as a FIFA The Best finalist, winner of the Zamora trophy as the Spanish league’s best goalkeeper and leading his country to the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.
According to the report, PSG is also trying to get Bounou – and has also put a first offer on the table for the financially weak Andalusians: The French are also offering twelve million euros, but as a fixed amount.
The German record champions should not be willing to compete for the goalkeeper between PSG and FC Bayern.
Bounou has kept 55 of his 157 La Liga games without conceding and has scored one goal himself.
