Maria KeaneGermany has a firm grip on the fourth corona wave, and politicians are already discussing compulsory vaccination for football professionals. Whats your opinion? In view of the current situation, should compulsory vaccination be introduced in the Bundesliga?
In the course of the debate about the previously unvaccinated Bayern players Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, politicians also called for mandatory vaccinations for professional footballers.
“I am in favor of compulsory vaccination for certain occupational groups, we need that,” emphasized Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder recently Picture TV“I think it would be a good signal that we are discussing something like this for the football sector as well – as a signal for the unity of fans and players.”
Söder pointed out that in Bavaria in the football stadiums 2G applies to the spectators, i.e. only vaccinated and convalescent have access since the corona traffic light for the hospital area jumped to red.
