Maria KeaneSven Mislintat, sports director of the Bundesliga soccer club VfB Stuttgart, tested positive for the corona virus on Wednesday. The 49-year-old, who according to the club is fully vaccinated, is in domestic isolation.
All other COVID-19 tests by the squad and the coaching staff were negative. The training can therefore be continued without restrictions.
“Our test and monitoring system at VfB worked well in my case too, so that the appropriate measures could be taken quickly. Watching the game on Friday on TV will certainly be an unusual moment for me,” said Mislintat. VfB will receive FSV Mainz 05 on Friday (8.30 p.m. / DAZN).
