Newcomer Raphael Guerreiro will be missing from the German record champions Bayern Munich for the time being. The Portuguese international suffered a torn muscle in his right calf during training on Saturday morning, as the Munich team announced.
Guerreiro will therefore not go on a tour of Asia with the team, and the start of a competitive game in the Supercup against DFB Cup winners RB Leipzig on August 12 is also in danger.
After moving from runners-up Borussia Dortmund to Bayern Munich, Guerreiro made his debut last Tuesday in a friendly against FC Rottach-Egern.
The 29-year-old left BVB on a free transfer after seven years and signed a contract in Munich until the summer of 2026.
