The initiator of the Qatar application alleges FCB to use "vile tricks"

Michael Ott has criticized those responsible for FC Bayern Munich for their behavior in the non-admission of his application for an end to Qatar sponsorship at the annual general meeting.

This is “an indictment and cowardly”, as Ott at image explained: “Arithmetically speaking, in the hope that time is running out: Those are mean tricks. Bayern shouldn’t go down to that level.”

For the annual general meeting on November 25, Bayern fans, led by Ott, submitted an application to end the partnership with Qatar Airways, which will last until 2023. Due to a lack of confirmation of admission, Ott & Co.

The Munich District Court rejected the intended temporary injunction. The court did not reject the application because of content-related problems, but rather: “It is only based on the fact that there is insufficient urgency,” said Ott on Thursday. The application could also be made at one of the upcoming annual general meetings.

Nevertheless, the matter should hardly be over for Bayern. “It’s the next round,” announced Ott. According to Ott, the court suggested “simply making a spontaneous motion” at the annual general meeting on November 25th. But this needs a 75 percent majority of the members in order to be admitted. “That extremely reduces the chances of success. FC Bayern would then have a free ticket to massively hinder or block all uncomfortable applications in the future,” explained the initiator.
