Thorgan Hazard tested positive for Corona

Maria KeaneBorussia Dortmund will have to do without Thorgan Hazard until further notice. The 28-year-old attacking player tested positive for the corona virus.
This was officially announced by the black and yellow on Monday. Hazard is also missing in the Champions League game at Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday (from 9 p.m. in the live ticker).
According to the club, the offensive player had no contact with the team on Monday or Sunday and immediately went into isolation. All members of the BVB squad of the professional team and the U23 as well as the respective support teams are 100 percent vaccinated or recovered, underlined the Dortmunders. Against this background, according to BVB, further quarantine measures are “currently not necessary”.
