Where does Gladbach end up after Eberl-Aus?

Borussia Mönchengladbach has had a very mixed season so far. To make matters worse, sports director Max Eberl has now announced his resignation. SPOX wants to know from you where the foals end up.

Gladbach have only scored 22 points from 20 games in the league so far. In 16th place (FC Augsburg) the advantage is only three points, compared to a direct relegation zone it is four (VfB Stuttgart).

The goal of playing internationally again in the coming season is already a long way off. A proud eleven points are currently missing in seventh place.

The direct route to Europe via the DFB Cup is also history. After the Foals sensationally threw FC Bayern out of the competition 5-0, they failed embarrassingly at second-division side Hannover 96 (0-3). Coach Adi Hütter is therefore on the brink.

His future is rumored to be decided in the upcoming games against Arminia Bielefeld (February 5) and FC Augsburg (February 12). According to the image-Zeitung Gladbach is considering approaching former Bayern coach Niko Kovac (last AS Monaco) if Hütter fails.

With Eberl, Borussia also lost their figurehead. He explained his farewell on Friday in a highly emotional way with deep tiredness and mental exhaustion. In addition to the sporting descent, Gladbach now also has to deal with an Eberl successor.

Now your opinion is needed! Can Gladbach still turn the tide despite the difficult circumstances – or will Borussia even slip into the table basement? You can vote here, for app users it’s this way!
