Because of the corona cases that have been rising for weeks and months everywhere in Germany, but especially in the state of Saxony, Leonhardt opposite on Tuesday image called for a lockdown of the entire football operation. “We need a football lockdown by the end of December. The next four weeks will be extremely difficult for our country and will be an acid test,” said the 63-year-old.

Due to new Corona measures, clubs in Saxony will have to play in front of empty ranks in the near future, which affects both Aue and Dynamo Dresden. However, the DFL already made it clear on Wednesday that, from their point of view, there would not be another interruption of the game as in 2020.
