Markus Schopp under attack in Barnsley - successor already ante portas?

As The Athletic reports, Markus Schopp’s commitment to FC Barnsley has ended. The second division has recently suffered seven defeats en suite.

In the summer, Markus Schopp took over from his successful predecessor Valerien Ismael – in the preseason the “Tykes” only narrowly missed promotion to the Premier League.

After 15 games as Barnsley coach, Schopp can only boast one victory – this is dated August 14th.

As the Yorkshire Post reported two weeks ago, Neil Redfearn could take over at Oakwell Stadium. Redfearn used to coach Leeds United and Rotherham and played for Barnsley for seven years.
