Maria KeaneFormer England international Carlton Cole has apologized for a Holocaust settlement on the sidelines of the Premier League game between Manchester City and West Ham United (2-1). The expert got it wrong at the radio station BBC Radio 5 Live in tone when he talked about the defensive line-up of his ex-club West Ham.
His statement was “completely unacceptable,” said Cole later on the radio show. He is sincerely sorry if he hurt someone with it. The BBC also apologized for their specialist.
“You have to have respect for Manchester City, otherwise they’ll tear you apart,” Cole began his analysis of the Hammers’ starting XI, before the fatal sentence followed: “Otherwise you’ll experience a Holocaust and you don’t want that.”
