Maria KeaneMidfielder Enock Mwepu of English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion has had to retire from football at the age of 24 because of heart problems. The club announced on Monday that the Zambia international had been diagnosed with a “hereditary heart disease”. A continuation of the career would lead to an “extremely high risk”.

Mwepu, who has scored three goals in 27 games for the club, wrote on Twitter that he was “living his dream of the Premier League”.
