Maria KeaneAubameyang and Arteta broke up at Arsenal. Now the Chelsea striker followed up on his ex-coach.
Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has once again criticized his former coach, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
In a video circulating on social media, Aubameyang says of Arteta: “Big characters, big players… he can’t handle it. He needs young players who don’t say anything.”
Aubameyang left Arsenal for Barcelona in January after being suspended for disciplinary action and stripped of his captain’s armband. After just six months at Barça, the 33-year-old Gabonese now plays for Arsenal’s city rivals Chelsea, for whom he has scored two goals in five appearances so far.
Arteta, meanwhile, has been head coach at Arsenal since the end of 2019. He has turned the Gunners into a top team that currently sits at the top of the Premier League.
