Chelsea briefly interrupted against Watford

After an emergency in the stands, the duel between Watford and Chelsea was interrupted for a long time in the early stages.

Watford reported via Twitterthat a supporter of the club had suffered a cardiac arrest, but this has since been stabilized and taken to a nearby hospital.

Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso had alerted the blues medics and carers to the emergency and sent them to the man.

The referee then ordered both teams back into the dressing room. The game was interrupted for more than 20 minutes, after a renewed warm-up phase for both teams, the ball then rolled again.
