Mikel Arteta appears to be attracting interest from two top European clubs. Like the English newspaper The Sun reported, the Arsenal manager is on the radar of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spaniard is currently on course to win the Premier League with the Gunners. His contract in North London runs until 2025, according to the report talks about a contract extension should only take place after the season, so the Arsenal board does not want any distractions in the championship fight.
PSG is now apparently targeting the coach as a possible successor to Christophe Galtier, and Arteta is also said to be a candidate for City if star coach Pep Guardiola does not fulfill his contract, which runs until 2025.
Arteta has been Arsenal manager since December 2019. The Gunners currently top the Premier League with 74 points from 31 games, but Manchester City lie just behind the leaders with 70 points from 30 games.
