Maria KeaneManchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has made it clear to former team-mate Gary Neville what he thinks of his recent criticism of him.
In the run-up to the Premier League game against West Ham on Sunday at Old Trafford (1-0), Ronaldo came to the moderation table of the broadcasting English TV station on his way to warm up Sky Sports over.
The 37-year-old gave a warm welcome to Louis Saha, with whom he also once played for United, and another expert in Jamie Redknapp. Neville, however, he just left and didn’t even look at him (Here is the video of the scene).
The moderator later spoke to Neville about it and also mentioned that Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was also left by the Portuguese after critical statements about CR7. Neville took it with humor: “We got crossed off his Christmas card list, didn’t we?” he quipped.
Neville recently criticized Ronaldo after he refused to come on as a substitute in the 2-0 win against Tottenham because he was angry about his bench position. CR7 and the now 47-year-old Englishman played together for United from 2003 to 2009.
