Gündogan hits!  City stays with Chelsea

Defending champion Manchester City remains on the heels of Chelsea in the English Premier League thanks to Ilkay Gündogan. The national soccer player scored the opening goal in a 2-1 (1-0) win against West Ham United (33rd). Fernandinho (90th) followed suit, the guests shortened by Manuel Lanzini (90th + 4).

City initially drew level with Chelsea with 29 points. The Champions League winner will meet record champions Manchester United on Sunday evening.
