Harry Kane on Bayern rumors: 'I'm focused on Tottenham'

Goal scorer Harry Kane does not want to be influenced by the alleged interest of the German record champions Bayern Munich. “I am focused on Tottenham Hotspur and trying to do what is best for us,” said the England captain on Tuesday.

Bayern is of course “a top, top club”, but the focus is on Tottenham and “winning the game”.

Kane, who is said to be under discussion in Munich as the successor to Robert Lewandowski, who has emigrated, meets with the Spurs on Wednesday (9 p.m. / DAZN) in the Champions League group phase on Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt. The trade magazine kicker recently reported on Bayern’s “first contact” with the attacker, who is still under contract with the London Premier League club until 2024.

In a duel with the Hessians, Kane hopes for his first goal of this premier class season. “Obviously I want to score in every game and I will do my best to achieve that and help the team,” said the 29-year-old. “I was a little disappointed that my name wasn’t on the scoreboard in the first couple of games stood. I hope that changes.”
