Maria KeaneEx-professional Ben Thornley blasphemed about national player Kai Havertz on the sidelines of a test match between Manchester United and Arsenal on the club’s own Red Devils station.
“Well, I would have just taken Kai Havertz out because he’s rubbish!” Thornley, who acted as commentator in the friendly, shot at the Gunners’ new forward.
His co-commentator Stewart Gardner then asked, “What do you have against Kai Havertz?” Thornley’s response: “I have nothing against him.”
Havertz was on the pitch for a total of 71 minutes in the test match and hardly knew how to convince. Manchester United won the game against Arsenal 2-0.
Havertz switched from Chelsea to Arsenal in the current transfer summer for a transfer fee of 75 million euros.
