Kai Havertz injured himself in the top game against West Ham

Kai Havertz apparently injured his ankle in the Premier League top game between West Ham and Chelsea. The national player went to the ground shortly before half-time with a pained face and did not return to the field after the restart.

With a score of 2: 1, Havertz went into a running duel against his ex-teammate Kurt Zouma shortly before the end of the first half on the right wing in the London Stadium and stabbed one step ahead into the penalty area.

Zouma grabbed the ball from Havertz’s feet and at the same time pinched his foot, which then buckled. Havertz remained on the floor for several minutes and had to be treated. In the second half, Chelsea coach Tuchel Romelu Lukaku brought Havertz into play. A diagnosis was still pending.
