League Cup: Liverpool trembles into the semifinals

Liverpool FC moved into the semi-finals of the League Cup after a chase and a penalty thriller. Jürgen Klopp’s team won in the round of the last eight against Leicester City 5: 4 on penalties, after 90 minutes it was 3: 3, at break 1: 3. Chelsea FC prevailed 2-0 (0-0) at Brentford FC.

Diogo Jota converted the decisive penalty for Liverpool, while substitute goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher saved two shots.
