Liverpool FC requests the rescheduling of the league cup

Due to a corona outbreak, Liverpool FC has requested the postponement of the first leg in the League Cup semi-finals at Arsenal FC, which is scheduled for Thursday (8.45 p.m. / DAZN).

The decision was made after an “escalating number of suspected corona cases”, said the club of team manager Jürgen Klopp on Tuesday evening. Klopp was also down due to a corona infection.

Before the top game at Thomas Tuchel’s FC Chelsea (2: 2), goalkeeper Alisson Becker, offensive player Roberto Firmino and central defender Joel Matip had already been found to be infected.
