Manchester City have made a long-term commitment to young star Phil Foden

Maria KeaneYoung star Phil Foden has prematurely extended his contract with English champions Manchester City by three years. The 22-year-old offensive player signed until 2027. The club announced this on Friday.
“It’s hard to put into words how happy I am to have signed this contract,” said the England international.
Foden continued: “A dream has come true. I’ve been a City fan all my life. I’ve been training here for many years and was even a ball boy once. I love this club so much and knowing that I’ll be part of until 2027 going to be him is just great.”
He has seven goals and three assists after 13 games this season. Foden has been at City since 2017 and has already won eleven titles under team manager Pep Guardiola.
