Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Napoli’s Min-jae Kim on a transfer this summer. He reports that Mirror.
Accordingly, United’s coach Erik ten Hag convinced the 26-year-old central defender to move to Old Trafford. Kim is set to become the Red Devils’ new defense boss.
As a transfer, 52 million euros would probably flow to the account of the Italian champions. This is how high the exit clause in Kim’s contract, which is dated until 2025, can be exercised in the first weeks of July this summer.
Also, the Naples-based Italian newspaper Il Mattino reports, however, of an upcoming transfer of Kim to Manchester. So there are only minor things that need to be clarified.
Kim only switched from Fenerbahce to Napoli last summer for around 18 million euros. With outstanding performances, the South Korean played a key role in the Partenopei winning the Serie A title, which has already been decided.
In addition to United, Kim has also been linked to other top clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Liverpool FC.
