Manchester United sign goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan for around 55 million

Goalkeeper Andre Onana’s transfer to English record champions Manchester United is perfect. The 27-year-old Cameroonian signed a contract until 2028 with an option for a further year. He will “start a new adventure,” said the Inter Milan goalkeeper on Instagram and said goodbye to his Italian fans. According to the BBC, the Red Devils will transfer around 55 million euros including possible bonuses.

Team manager Erik ten Hag already knows Onana from times together at Ajax Amsterdam. Keeper David de Gea had recently rejected a new contract offer from United.

After seven and a half years, Onana switched from Ajax to Inter in the summer of 2022, with the Nerazzurri he was in the final of the Champions League – but lost 0-1 to Manchester City.
