“No agreement” with another club

National soccer player Ilkay Gundogan has not yet made a decision about his future beyond the current season. “There is definitely no agreement with any other club,” his uncle and agent Ilhan Gundogan told the newspaper Guardians.

The captain of the English champions Manchester City had been solely focused on the club and the birth of his first son Kais in the past few weeks. “Now he’s in the crucial phase of the season and he’s just concentrating on that. It’s still unclear where Ilkay will play next season,” said Ilhan Gündogan.

The 32-year-old’s contract with City expires. Most recently, the midfielder was associated with FC Barcelona. Media in Spain have already reported on a preliminary agreement on a free transfer in the summer.
