Order from the boss? Tottenham Hotspur's Daniel Levy comes under pressure in Harry Kane poker

Tottenham Hotspur CEO Daniel Levy is apparently under increasing pressure in poker for top striker Harry Kane. Again telegraph reported, Spurs owner Joe Lewis has intervened in the cause and hired Levy to sell Kane this summer should he decide against extending his contract. After Mirror-Lewis has overruled his club boss with this decision.

Harry Kane’s contract at Tottenham Hotspur runs for just one year until 2024. It was leaked last week that Kane should reject an extension of the accruing working paper. Instead, he would rather switch to Bayern Munich. If he is not sold this summer, he could move on a free transfer next summer. Owner Joe Lewis apparently wants to prevent that.

Kane is said to have recently turned down a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. Instead, he just wanted to switch to Bayern Munich, the Englishman should already be in agreement with the Munich team for the most part. According to English media reports, the Spurs are demanding around 120 million euros for their captain – a sum that the German record champions have so far not been willing to pay.

After Bayern Munich’s first two offers were said to have been rejected, Levy is now under more pressure. Even if FCB does not reach the desired sum with a third offer, they will probably be forced to negotiate in order to fulfill Lewis’ order.
