Premier League: Liverpool remain on their heels

Maria KeaneLiverpool FC with Jürgen Klopp remains on the heels of leaders Chelsea FC in the Premier League. On matchday 13, the Reds prevailed 4-0 (3-0) on Anfield Road against FC Southampton with coach Ralph Hasenhüttl.
The Portuguese Diogo Jota (2nd) scored early to make it 1-0 for Liverpool and increased in the 32nd minute. Ex-Munich Thiago (37th) put the result to 3-0. Orange star Virgil van Dijk (52nd) provided the final point.
With 28 points, the Klopp team moved, at least temporarily, up to one point on the Chelsea team of team manager Thomas Tuchel. The Blues have home rights on Sunday (5.30 p.m. / Sky) against record champions Manchester United, who are expected to play with the new coach Ralf Rangnick.
Arsenal wins thanks to a brace
Arsenal FC had made up further ground on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners beat Newcastle United, bottom of the table, 2-0 (0-0) at home. It was the fourth win in the last five games.
Bukayo Saka (56th) and Gabriel Martinelli (66th) scored for the Londoners, where goalkeeper Bernd Leno only sat on the bench. Arsenal have 23 points in their account and made contact with the top teams.
