Ralf Rangnick could well remain coach beyond the end of the season

Ralf Rangnick could well remain Manchester United coach beyond the end of the season. That reports the Sports picture.

Accordingly, it is not ruled out that the ex-Leipzig will remain a United coach for the long term. One reason for this is that the club has not yet found a successor.

Talks with PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino are said to have stalled because he is demanding too much power in transfers and player contracts. Ajax’s Erik ten Hag should also hesitate because he wants to keep all options open.

Rangnick himself should also flirt with a longer tenure in the coaching bench. Officially, Rangnick’s contract as United coach runs until the end of the year, after which he will work as a consultant for the Red Devils for two more years.

According to the report, however, there is only a letter of intent between Rangnick and the club, which would allow him to become sports director afterwards.

Rangnick has been the interim coach of Manchester United since the beginning of December, and in the three games under Rangnick the club has two wins in the Premier League and a 1-1 in the Champions League.
