Real Madrid are apparently dealing with Manchester United's Diogo Dalot

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in the services of right-back Diogo Dalot. That reports the English Mirror. Accordingly, the 23-year-old from Manchester United is the alternative to the desired player João Cancelo, who Manchester City does not want to let go. According to the report, Real coach Carlo Ancelotti would like an experienced player who could also play for many more years.

Dalot is experiencing an upswing under the new United coach Erik ten Hag, the Portuguese is one of the undisputed regular players of the Red Devils and has now almost forgotten Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who had been a seed for years.

Real is said to have been observing Dalot’s development for months, and the conclusion was consistently positive – both in terms of his personality and his attitude to work.

Diogo Dalot: FC Barcelona should also be interested

The contract of the six-time Portuguese national player, who is considered a safe World Cup driver due to his performance, expires next year. However, United has an option to extend the working paper for another year. The advisor should Mirror have already confirmed that Dalot will not sign a new contract.

In addition to Real, arch-rivals FC Barcelona are also interested in Dalot, but the Royals are in a much better financial position. Should United take the option and not let Dalot go free of charge, the transfer fee will be around 40 million euros.

Real Madrid currently have two trained right-backs in their squad in Daniel Carvajal and Álvaro Odriozola, although the latter plays no role and is yet to play this season.
