Romelu Lukaku apologizes for statements made in the interview

After his interview statements and the subsequent removal from the Chelsea squad, striker Romelu Lukaku (28) spoke in a video published by the PL club and apologized for his behavior.

“I would like to apologize to the fans for the trouble,” said Lukaku in a video message posted on the Chelsea club website on Tuesday evening.

The 28-year-old revised his statements that he could imagine switching back to Serie A to Inter Milan. “You know the connection I’ve had with this club since my teenage days. I can understand that you’re upset,” said the Belgian.
