Promoted SV Elversberg has again taken over the top position in the 3rd league. While the Saarlanders won 3-0 (1-0) against MSV Duisburg on Saturday, the previous leaders 1860 Munich surprisingly lost 1-2 (0-1) in a southern comparison against FC Ingolstadt.
Valdrin Mustafa (12′) scored to make it 1-0 for Elversberg, Kevin Koffi (82′) and Israel Suero Fernandez (90’+3′) made the final score.
Marcel Costly (15th) put the Schanzer in the lead at the Munich Lions. Patrick Schmidt (89th) eliminated the last doubts about the FCI victory. Meris Skenderovic (90th) scored the connecting goal for the Blues.
The SVE has 25 points, followed by the sixties with 23 points in second place. Third is SV Wehen Wiesbaden (21) after the 1-0 (1-0) win at FSV Zwickau. Ivan Prtajin (35′) scored the winning goal for SVWW, Wehen’s Lucas Brumme saw the yellow-red card (90’+2′).
In the chasing duel, Waldhof Mannheim prevailed 1-0 (1-0) against 1. FC Saarbrücken. Dominik Martinovic (33rd) scored the winning goal for the Kurpfälzer.
3rd league: series of VfB Oldenburg tears
After six games without defeat, VfB Oldenburg suffered a defeat against the second division relegated Erzgebirge Aue by 1: 3 (1: 1). Tom Baumgart (15th), Lenn Jastremski (54th) and Tim Danhof (90th + 1) scored for the Saxons. An own goal by Ulrich Taffertshofer (41st) made it 1-1.
SV Meppen lost 0-1 (0-0) to newly promoted SpVgg Bayreuth and has not won in seven games. On Friday evening, SC Verl and Viktoria Köln drew 2-2 (0-0).
