3rd league: debacle for 1860 Munich - Magdeburg early autumn champions

Leader of the table 1. FC Magdeburg has delivered impressive proof of its strength in the 3rd division and secured the autumn championship ahead of time. At 1860 Munich, the former European Cup winners won 5: 2 (5: 0).

Connor Krempicki (5th / 17th), Andreas Müller (15th), Jan-Luca Schuler (29th) and Baris Atik (43rd, penalty kick) shot out a 5-0 lead in the first half. Fabian Greilinger (71st) and Merveille Biankadi (89th) score the goals of honor for the Munich Lions.

The home game against Viktoria Köln was all about the mourning of the fans of 1. FC Kaiserslautern. On Friday, FCK icon Horst Eckel, one of the heroes of the miracle of Bern in 1954, died at the age of 89. The Red Devils prevailed against the Rhinelander 4-0 (2-0). Daniel Hanslik (5th / 48th), Philipp Hercher (20th) and Jean Zimmer (87th) scored the FCK goals.

Viktoria Berlin and Türkgücü Munich parted goalless on the 18th matchday. Berlin’s Jakob Lewald saw the traffic light card for repeated foul play (76th). Hallesche FC and Würzburger Kickers also played goalless. The SC Verl lost to Borussia Dortmund II 0: 3 (0: 3). Verls Mael Corboz saw the yellow-red card for repeated foul play (57th).
