3rd league: Mannheim conquered promotion place

Waldhof Mannheim has won a promotion place in the 3rd division. The Mannheim team won the duel between the former Bundesliga clubs at 1860 Munich 3-1 (2-0) and improved to second place with 30 points behind leaders 1. FC Magdeburg (34).

Marc Schnatterer (13th) and Dominik Martinovic (20th, 90th + 4) scored the hits for the guests, Richard Neudecker (66th) cut short in the meantime. Keanu Staude (74th) then failed with a hand penalty to Waldhof goalkeeper Timo Königsmann. The lions (23) stay in the middle of the table.
