3rd league: Meppen stays on promotion places

SV Meppen improved to fifth place in the 3rd division on Sunday with a 3-0 (2-0) win against newly promoted Viktoria Berlin. Luka Tankulic (11th / 27th) brought the Emslanders onto the road to victory early on with a double pack. Christoph Hemlein (74th) scored the final score.
The capital club lost Lukas Finn Pinckert due to repeated foul play (15th) with a yellow-red card. Meppen (33 points) is only two points behind the table runner-up Eintracht Braunschweig.
In the second Sunday game, the Würzburger Kickers did not get beyond a 2: 2 (1: 0) against FSV Zwickau.
Marvin Pourie (29th) was 1-0 successful for Mainfranken, an own goal by Lars Dietz (52nd) brought the FSV the meanwhile 1-1 equalizer. Maximilian Breunig (74th) scored the 2-1 for the hosts, but Marco Schikora (90th) saved the FSV a point. The Kickers are still penultimate in the table.
