3rd league: Victory for BVB II

Borussia Dortmund II celebrated their third win of the season in the 3rd division and left the relegation zone. The black and yellow prevailed against MSV Duisburg 2-0 (1-0).

Moritz Broschinski (39th) and Marco Pasalic (67th) scored the goals. In the Stadion am Zoo in Wuppertal, more than 2,000 away fans made for a home game atmosphere for MSV, which, however, missed numerous great chances in the first half.

The victory pushed Dortmund up to 15th place in the table. The Zebras are now two points ahead of them in 12th place. For Duisburg it was the fifth bankruptcy in the last six games.

Meanwhile, SC Verl has moved into the middle of the table. The East Westphalians won 3-1 (1-1) at newly promoted SpVgg Bayreuth and are unbeaten in five games. They scored eleven points.

Nicolas Sessa (14th) gave Verl the lead, Alexander Nollenberger (27th) equalized Bayreuth. Maximilian Wolfram (67th) and Joel Grodowski (81st) also scored for SCV and sealed the away win. Bayreuth is still bottom of the table.
