League leader Magdeburg shoots down Duisburg

1. FC Magdeburg has once again set an exclamation mark in the 3rd division and underpinned its promotion ambitions. The sovereign table leader won 5-0 (3-0) at the ailing MSV Duisburg and is now eleven points ahead of his closest pursuer.

This is 1. FC Saarbrucken, who won 2-0 (0-0) against Borussia Dortmund II, relegating 1. FC Kaiserslautern to third place.
