Türkgücü around 1860 canceled at short notice

Shortly before the planned kick-off, the city duel between Türkgücü Munich and 1860 Munich in the 3rd division was canceled. This was announced by the German Football Association (DFB) on Saturday, citing as justification that the city of Munich’s health department had “ordered a quarantine for large parts of the team” because of some corona cases in 1860.

Originally, the game should have started at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. An alternative date is not fixed yet. According to the DFB, the game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern scheduled for Tuesday (7:00 p.m.) is “also at high risk”.

During the week, the lions were eliminated in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup against Karlsruher SC. The second division team reported a massive corona outbreak on Thursday, and the game against SV Sandhausen was then postponed.
