As the club announced on Tuesday, a total of 1,100 free tickets for a selected Bundesliga home game in the new stadium at Wolfswinkel will be distributed to people who are vaccinated against COVID-19 for the first time from Friday to Sunday.
“Vaccinations are the decisive step in combating the corona pandemic and thus back to normal. With our campaign ‘SC vaccination tickets’ we want to make a contribution,” said SC board member Oliver Leki.
Fans have to get vaccinated in the Freiburg trade fair in order to get a free standing ticket for a match in normal Bundesliga games with unrestricted occupancy. However, a free choice of the home game is not possible.
On Saturday (3:30 p.m.), coach Christian Streich’s team will start the new Bundesliga season at Arminia Bielefeld. A maximum of 13,750 spectators are admitted to the Bielefelder Alm, 50 percent of the actual capacity.
