AC Milan and Florian Grillitsch are apparently getting closer

Is ÖFB team player Florian Grillitsch saying goodbye from Hoffenheim? Traditional club AC Milan have their eyes on the central midfielder.

Again Kicker reported on Thursday, Florian Grillitsch is very popular at AC Milan. A mutual interest – Milan would be the next logical step for the 26-year-old.

While SSC Napoli would not be able to finance the Austrian, Milan would be able to pay a low double-digit million sum.

Grillitsch’s contract in Hoffenheim only runs until summer 2022. If TSG want to monetize their key player, August would be the best opportunity.

“I am currently assuming that he is part of the team. I have no signals in the other direction,” said coach Sebastian Hoeneß two days before the Bundesliga start this Saturday at FC Augsburg. Grillitsch will certainly not be there because he is suffering from thigh problems.

“I don’t necessarily want to leave TSG, I have a contract until 2022. But another career step is already conceivable for me, I feel ready for it,” flirted Grillitsch in Kicker even before the European Championship with a potential club change.
