Maria KeaneSC Freiburg and midfielder Baptiste Santamaria go their separate ways after a year.
As the Breisgauer announced on Tuesday, the 26-year-old is moving to the French first division club Stade Rennes. Santamaria came from SCO Angers last September and played 33 competitive games for Freiburg.
“Baptiste approached us at relatively short notice with the wish to be able to move back to the French homeland with his family,” said SC sports director Jochen Saier: “It was clear to us that we would only agree to this change if we were in the position We are in final discussions about this. “
His new club has already presented Santamaria with a rather idiosyncratic video on Twitter, in which a hacker is apparently looking for the player on the Internet and Santamaria then appears on the screen.
