Maria KeaneThe Finnish national goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky is the new captain of the Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen. The 31-year-old succeeds midfielder Charles Aranguiz, who last served as captain at the factory club.
“First I have to call Lars Bender and ask him how to do it and get a few tips,” said Hradecky flaccidly about the need to talk to the ex-captain.
“Lukas is not only an outstanding goalkeeper, he is also a full professional who practices his sport very conscientiously,” said coach Gerardo Seoane, “in addition, he has a very positive charisma, is communicative and likes to take on responsibility.”
