BVB probably offers Haaland a mega salary
The rumor mill about Erling Haaland has been simmering tremendously since his arrival in January 2020. In order to keep the Norwegian beyond the summer, Borussia Dortmund is apparently offering the 21-year-old an extraordinarily high salary.
According to a report from the Sports picture-Podcast “Bayern Insider” Dortmund is ready to go beyond its previous limits. Accordingly, the BVB managers want to increase Haaland’s annual salary to 16 to 18 million euros.
A sum that actually does not correspond to Borussia’s philosophy. So far, Marco Reus and Mats Hummels are at the top of the BVB salary pyramid with an annual salary of ten million euros.
According to media reports, Haaland, whose contract in the Ruhr area runs until 2024, has an exit clause of over 75 million euros for the coming summer.
Interested parties include Manchester United, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. Rumors of a possible interest of FC Bayern are also buzzing around.
