BVB sponsor hopes that Erling Haaland will stay
Björn Gulden from Borussia Dortmund’s outfitter Puma is hoping for striker Erling Haaland to stay beyond the season. That’s what the CEO said in a conversation with them Ruhr news on.
“My recommendation would of course be that he stay at Borussia for another year. But I also know that he is being pulled from all sides,” he said.
The Norwegian is very interesting from a marketing point of view, but Haaland himself is under contract with the other sporting goods manufacturer Nike. “I would like to have him under contract, that can happen too. Erling in Puma shoes at BVB – that would be my favorite combination,” said Gulden.
Haaland is still under contract with BVB until 2024, in which an exit clause of around 75 million euros is integrated. Borussia Dortmund’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke announced talks with the striker a few days ago.
