Dortmund is in danger of losing the battle for Zakaria
Borussia Dortmund threatens to lose the fight to sign Denis Zakaria from Borussia Mönchengladbach. According to the image the 24-year-old midfielder from Switzerland is aiming for a move abroad and preferably to the Premier League.
Dortmund is said to have been interested in a commitment as early as 2017. At that time, Zakaria decided on Gladbach, where he has since recommended himself for higher tasks with strong performances. His contract expires next summer, Gladbach is aiming for an extension.
“I didn’t say that I definitely want to go,” Zakaria said last at the Rheinische Post. “I’ve always said that I felt comfortable in Gladbach. We’ll have to have more talks, I can’t say more about it yet.”
